About Kirsten
 

Kirsten combines a lifelong love of animals with proven, positive training techniques. She is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) and has learned from training greats such as Karen Pryor, the Baileys, Kathy Sdao and Susan Garrett.

Kirsten has shown and titled multiple breeds in obedience, agility, conformation and weight pull competitions.  She is also a UKC Weight Pull Judge. Her own dogs, as well as those of her students, continue to show successfully in these sports while making valuable contributions to their communities as therapy dogs and service dogs.

A longtime member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers  (APDT) and the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers (CCPDT), Kirsten regularly attends seminars and training camps.

Each summer, Kirsten provides her expertise as an instructor at Camp Winnaribbun, a training camp for dogs and their owners.
